The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity (DEI) Committee aims to create a safe and inclusive environment by making progressive changes on campus. We organize events and campaigns throughout the year to build a strong sense of community, create awareness, and support the diverse student population.

Culture through Coffee

The DEI committee collaborates with the External Relations committee to host an event called 'Culture through Coffee.' This event allows students to interact with professors and faculty who may share similar backgrounds, as well as learn about different experiences from other cultures. It fosters a sense of community and is a great learning experience for everyone, all while sharing great refreshments and tasty treats!

Human Library

The Human Library is an annual event hosted by SESB. It traditionally features CSE Alumni speakers who share their experiences and advice in a casual setting. The purpose of this event is to help students form connections in a meaningful way with a diverse group of alumni with different interests, career paths, majors, and identities.
